Environmental Electromagnetic Fields
With recent legislative regulations regarding human exposure
to environmental electromagnetic fields (Italian Law 381, regarding
electromagnetic fields fields, etc.) and increasing public awareness
of the problem, the need for institutions (Ministries of Environment,
Health, Communications), fixed and mobile telephony operators,
industries, consultants, and private citizens within their own
homes to take the necessary interventions regarding measuring
electromagnetic fields is continuously on the rise.
Our technicians and equipment are available to respond to these
needs. Surveys can be carried out for any type of field source
both in low frequency (long-distance power lines, transformer
rooms, appliances, etc.) and high frequency (industrial machines,
medical apparatus, radio-TV broadcast antennae, mobile telephones,
radio links, etc.)
Microclimate
and Noise
Our survey services also includes the monitoring of microclimates
and noise levels necessary for certification in compliance with
Italian Law 626/94 regarding the suitability of workplace environments
and civilian settings.
Seismic
Prospecting
This activity is carried out by our geophysical group. Using
the M.A.S.W. superficial waves analysis method and the seismic
refraction method, it operates on the territory for manifold
applications including: the evaluation of the geo-mechanical
characteristics of the area, research into buried objects (walls,
cavities, etc.), the study of seismic micro-zoning, the evaluation
of risks in areas subject to sink-holes, stratigraphic layout
of the territory, and evaluation of the depth of the stratum
surface.
